After the hit success of the original Laundromat Café in Elmegade, where the establishment doubles as a launderette, Icelandic owner Frederik crowned the upscale Østerbro as her next destination in dire need of clean clothes and good coffee—at the same time.

The newer Laundromat Café is slightly larger but otherwise the same, built with handsome wood-paneled walls to create a trendy atmosphere. And like its predecessor, the counter here still thankfully doubles as a long bookshelf, giving you something to read while you kick back, enjoy your cappuccino and give your clothes a whirl through the tumbler.
