Finding your niche is the fist step towards success; or so the five art historians behind Kontoret For Undergrundsanliggender (The Office for Underground Affairs) seem to have mused when they conceived of this place. And it’s very apparent where their sights were set.

Strictly featuring exhibits with one common theme—the underground—this micro gallery has hosted different shows exhibiting works as common as maps of the Copenhagen underground to handcrafted unconventional periscopes created by German artist Hartmut Stockter that offer a look into activity beneath the surface.

The gallery also regularly screen films ranging from documentaries on artists like Gordon Matta-Clark to doomsday movies set entirely in the subterranean future.Quote_gray
