Shaking up an otherwise stale and local-minded art scene, V1 gallery was on the forefront of a wave of younger Danish galleries popping up in the last ten years. Dissatisfied with the more staid art of older, established galleries, V1 has been instrumental in introducing a young generation of artists, and are slowly emerging as an international player on the Scandinavian and European art scene by representing such artists as Anika Lori, Dearraindrop, Peter Funch and Richard Colman.
